It was announced in a February earnings call by CFO Hugh Johnston that accounts "suspected of improper sharing" will be given new opportunities for borrowers to begin their own memberships starting this summer. Following that, Disney Plus will start charging for password sharing by offering account holders the option to pay an extra fee for users outside of their household.
