The performances of Inigo Martinez and Pau Cubarsi have ensured that FC Barcelona have not missed the services of captain Ronald Araujo.
However, the 25-year-old’s return is eagerly awaited by Han the Blaugrana as he is one of their best and most important players.
Araujo has been out of action since July following which he underwent surgery and has been on the road to recovery.
Recent reports suggested that Araujo is already upping the intensity of his training sessions starting this week and could be back in action as early as next month.

However, now, according to a fresh update from RAC1, that is unlikely to be the case and Barcelona will have to wait until December to welcome Araujo back to action on the field.
The Blaugrana are proceeding with great caution with their club captain and as such the central defender might not be back until the early days of December.
The report further adds that there could be further delays with his return, but at the end of the day, the club will not rush him and proceed with great calmness and caution.
Even when he returns, the Uruguayan international will have a fight on his hands to win back a spot in the starting lineup, given the form that Martinez and Cubarsi have shown this season.
